Ricardo Fandiño

Ricardo, partner at Gómez-Pinzón, counts with more than 20 years of professional experience. He is Partner of Gómez-Pinzón, head of the Banking, Finance & Capital Markets practice and is member of the Firm’s Executive Committee.

Throughout his career, Ricardo has developed a legal practice of permanent advice to international banks with presence or cross-border interests in Colombia, particularly in financings, capital markets, derivatives and treasury transactions, and banking and securities regulation.

Ricardo acts as legal advisor in several infrastructure projects, particularly in those related with roads and transportation as well as others related with energy. In addition, he has advised the government, private contractors and lenders in the structuring of infrastructure projects. He has been leading counsel in several project finance transactions, which gives him a well-rounded view for these types of advisories.
