The "Polo Sur Project and Minera Centinela Optimization" project consists of the incorporation of two new pits and annexed facilities for the extraction and subsequent processing of oxide ore, using the Encuentro crushing and agglomeration plant and the SX-EW Tesoro plant, without modifying the capacities of the latter, thus ensuring the operational continuity of the oxide line. At the same time, the project seeks to optimize the design and operation of the future facilities of the sulfide line of the DMC project. Complementarily, the Project considers modifications in the different waste management centers that will allow each one by itself to attend the entire mine site in the Mine-Plant sector.
