Nicolás Balmaceda

Nicolás, partner at Barros & Errázuriz, has more than 20 years of professional experience. He has mainly developed the areas of infrastructure, banking and finance and mergers and acquisitions of the Firm, leading teams for the construction of the two liquefied natural gas terminals in Chile; construction and financing of ports and roads, both in the country and abroad; financing of two of the three groups of private prison concessions in the country; financing of the only urban tunnel in Chile; construction of oil pipelines and airports; financing and development of generation and electric transmission projects, among others.

Through corporate and project financing, legislative and governmental advising, infrastructure, energy and corporate advising in general, Nicolás has represented banks and public and private financial institutions, port companies, public works concessionaires, construction and engineering companies, sponsors and shareholders of the previous ones.

Nicolás forms part of the list of arbitrators of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce.

Luis Alberto Letelier

Luis Alberto, partner at Barros & Errázuriz, has more than 20 years of experience advising companies and funds that participate in the capital markets, participating in mergers and acquisitions transactions, national and international financing operations and issues of shares and debt, both in Chile and in foreign markets.

He is the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chilean Association of Investment Fund Administrators (ACAFI, spanish acronym for Asociación Chilena de Administradoras de Fondos de Inversión) who he has advised for more than 10 years and a member of the Capital Markets Advisory Council of the Ministry of Finance.
