Nueva Esperanza - Arqueros

The project considers the exploitation of the Arqueros, Teterita and Chimberos mining properties, whose total resources to date reach 34.6 million tons of ore with average grades of 1.7 gr/t gold, which makes a total recoverable of 1.9 million ounces of gold equivalent. According to the latest feasibility study, the operations would produce around 120 thousand ounces of gold equivalent per year, during the first 5 of a total of 10 years of useful life of the future operation.

Lomas Bayas 2029

The Project considers the operational continuity by extending the life of the Lomas Bayas mining operation until 2029, involving the extraction of ore at approximately 170,000 tons per day, with a production of copper cathodes around 85,000 tons per year. To extend the life of the mining operation, the Project plans to utilize existing facilities and, in some cases, modify certain components of the “Open Pit Mining Operations,” “Heap Leaching,” and “Transport and Disposal of Waste” processes, including an expansion of the surfaces of the Lomas Bayas I and Lomas Bayas II pits, the establishment of a new phase for the HEAP pile, the expansion of the ROM pile surfaces, and the expansion of the surfaces for waste dumps.

Polo Sur

The “Polo Sur Project and Minera Centinela Optimization” project consists of the incorporation of two new pits and annexed facilities for the extraction and subsequent processing of oxide ore, using the Encuentro crushing and agglomeration plant and the SX-EW Tesoro plant, without modifying the capacities of the latter, thus ensuring the operational continuity of the oxide line. At the same time, the project seeks to optimize the design and operation of the future facilities of the sulfide line of the DMC project.

Complementarily, the Project considers modifications in the different waste management centers that will allow each one by itself to attend the entire mine site in the Mine-Plant sector.
