Cableway Alto Hospicio - Iquique

The project consists in the development of a cable car, which with an extension of 5.5 km will connect the stations of Los Cóndores, in the commune of Alto Hospicio, and Rotonda El Pampino, in the city of Iquique. The work also considers a break point located in El Boro of 1,000 m2 and a garage of 1,500 m2 in Los Cóndores. The project, which proposes a new zero-emission public transport system, will have a maximum capacity of 3,000 passengers per hour in each direction and will reduce travel times between the two locations, since it is estimated that the section will be covered in 16 minutes.
