Central Costanera Highway Concession, Vespucio - Las Vizcachas Section

The project consists in the construction of a 12 km highway, which will begin at the intersection of Av. Américo Vespucio and Av. Departamental to move southward along Av. La Florida- Av. Camilo Henríquez to Av. Eyzaguirre (Las Vizcachas sector) using the fiscal strip of these axes. The design considers a 9 km underground route with three tracks in each direction and 3 km on the surface with two tracks in each direction in the final section (approximately between Palabra de Vida and Las Vizcachas). In addition, there are connections between the express road and the surface road. The surface roadway incorporates an urban proposal consisting of a central park with an average width of 20 m, with a bicycle lane along the entire route, a public transport corridor on the sides of the central park, and local side streets with no narrowing. Pedestrian and road integration is improved on the east and west edges of La Florida and Camilo Henríquez avenues.
