Concession Route 5 Vallenar - Caldera

The Project considers the improvement of 227 km of the Route 5, in the section that links the cities of Vallenar and Caldera, through the expansion to a double roadway. The initiative also includes improvements to the layout, rehabilitation of existing roads, new bridges and rehabilitation of existing ones, overpasses and returns. The future work will improve safety standards on the route, increase resistance to seismic movements and other natural hazards and have a design speed of 120 km/hr.
