Project: Exploration and Exploitation of the Maricunga Salt Flat

The project consists of a public-private partnership between the state-owned company Codelco, through its subsidiary Salar de Maricunga SpA, and interested private parties, for the exploration, exploitation, and processing of lithium deposits in the Maricunga salt flat and its surroundings, located in the Atacama Region. The project is developed in the context of the so-called "National Lithium Strategy," which aims to promote the development of the lithium industry in Chile.
