Puerto Montt Metropolitan Highway Road Concession

The project proposes the construction and operation of a double roadway that will connect the towns of Puerto Varas, Alerce, La Vara, Puerto Montt and El Tepual Airport, in a length of approximately 32 km. The initiative considers three sections: Section I, parallel to Route V-505 from southern access to Puerto Varas to Av Austral; Section II, from Av Austral to Route 5, using the axis of Avenida Presidente Ibáñez and Avenida Austral, and Section III, corresponding to a new axis parallel to Route V-226, from Route 5 to El Tepual Airport. In addition, a bypass is planned in the urban sector of Alerce and links that connect the different areas of the town, a semi-covered trench in the urban sector of Puerto Montt and solutions for entry and exit to this city, links with Route 5 and access to El Tepual Airport and local streets to provide connectivity in Puerto Varas, Alerce and Puerto Montt. The work seeks to improve connectivity in the region, through a new road with a design speed of 120 km/hr.
