Rutas De Villarrica Concession

The project consists in the expansion of the existing roadway and the incorporation of a new route, with crossings and footbridges, to improve road safety and connectivity between the communes of Freire, Villarrica and Pucón. In this way, Route 199-CH in the Freire - Villarrica section will be extended to a double roadway in a length of 48 km and a new route will be created that will begin with a bypass in the southwest of the city of Villarrica of 10 km and will continue until Pucón by a parallel route to the current road that borders the lake, which is called Second Strip. This route ends by joining with Route 199-CH to the east of Pucón. The project, which considers the incorporation of a Manual Toll and Electronic Toll System operating simultaneously, will reduce travel times and improve safety levels for motorists, public transport and pedestrians, favouring the development of productive and service activities in a lake and winter tourist development sector.
