Reservoir of four IOGG deposits. A prefeasibility study was completed in 2011 and the operation’s investment and operation parameters are re-estimated. An exploitation of sulphide resources is applied to recover more than 100 ktpy of fine copper and 470 kg of gold in copper concentrate, plus the coproduction of 4 Mtpy of iron resources (magnetite and hematite) in iron concentrates through the magnetic concentration of the floatation’s tailings. The copper concentrate will be filtered and transported from the Mine-Plant area on trucks to the Harbor Area for its storage and subsequent shipment. On the other hand, the magnetite concentrate will be transported through a concentrate to the Harbor area, where it will be washed, filtered and stored until its shipment. The project’s implementation is scheduled for three years after its construction began.
