Ana Cristina, partner at Gómez-Pinzón, has more than 17 years of experience in Mergers and Acquisitions. During her professional career, she has focused on addressing issues related to mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures and corporate matters in different economic sectors.

Ana Cristina has participated and advised numerous and important transactions in the Colombian market, as was the case of the financing rounds with foreign investors of Merqueo S.A.S; the purchase of a minority stake from Itochu Corp by Drummond Ltd; the purchase of a majority stake in OMA by the Mesoamerica private equity fund; the acquisition by Biomax from the shareholders of Brío Colombia S.A. through a public acquisition offer (PAO) on the public stock market; the secondary issuance of shares in the public securities market of Ecopetrol; the placement of JP Morgan & Bancolombia in Ecopetrol’s initial public offering of shares; the sale of Granbanco-Bancafé to the Davivienda bank and the merger through which SABMiller acquired control of Bavaria Deal, among others.
