Mauricio Piñeros

Mauricio, partner at Gómez-Pinzón, is the director of the tax law area of the firm and counts with more than 30 years of professional experience. He is an external general advisor of several local and multinational companies in tax matters as well as natural persons and family groups in matters of tax and estate planning.

In matters regarding taxes, he has advised companies in the energy, gas, financial, media and print, public services, telecommunications, infrastructure, technology, beverages, transport, mining, real estate, security and pharmaceutical sectors. These include corporate taxes, investigations, litigation, tax aspects related to mergers and acquisitions transactions, private equity investments, financial transactions and project financing, foreign investments in Colombia and Colombian investments abroad.
