Pablo Sotomayor

Pablo, partner at Miranda & Amado, focuses his professional practices on tax consulting and corporate tax planning. He is well-versed in the transfer and acquisition of businesses and companies across a variety of industries, and in corporate restructuring, financing and cross-border transactions. In addition, he advises clients on tax review and audit procedures, and represents individuals and companies with Peru’s various tax administrations in contentious and non-contentious proceedings, as well as with the Tax Court and the judiciary.

He is a member of Instituto Peruano de Derecho Tributario (IPDT) [Peruvian Tax Law Institute] and the International Fiscal Association (IFA). Also, Pablo is a member of the tax affairs committee of the Sociedad Nacional de Minería, Petróleo y Energía [National Society of Mining, Petroleum and Energy]. Since 2009, he has served as a professor at the Law School of Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas and since 2012 at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.

Mauricio Raffo

Mauricio, partner at Miranda & Amado, leads the firm’s dispute resolution team.
