José Daniel Amado

José Daniel, partner at Miranda & Amado, has focuses his practice on corporate law, infrastructure projects and international arbitration, having participated in some of the most significant transactions in Peru in the past two decades, as well as in some of the most important disputes related to Peru in recent years.

He was former General Secretary to the Peruvian Council of Ministers, and Chief of Advisors to the Prime Minister from 2001 to 2002. In arbitration matters, his experience includes serving as Chair of the Peruvian Arbitration Institute and of the Peruvian Chapter of Club Español del Arbitraje, as Vice Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce – Peru, and as an officer in the Arbitration Committee of the International Bar Association.

Ignacio Armida

Ignacio, partner at Mijares, Angoitia, Cortés y Fuentes, has experience in general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and financings. He has advised buyers, sellers and investors in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic partnerships.

He has wide experience in cross-border and international transactions, which constitute most of his practice until now, representing Mexican and foreign entities. Furthermore, he has advised both sponsors and lenders on infrastructure financing projects.

Ignacio has represented creditors and debtors in liability restructuring transactions, including syndicated loans. He has experience representing various issuers, financial intermediaries and securities placement agents in securities issuances, including securitizations, equity and debt issuances and issuance of structured instruments carried out through private or public offerings in Mexico and abroad.

Giovanni Priori

Giovanni, partner at Miranda & Amado, focuses his professional practice on dispute resolution, ranging from negotiations to arbitral litigation, and on civil, constitutional and administrative proceedings.

From 2016 to 2017, he served as Chairman of the Working Group for the reform of the Peruvian Code of Civil Procedure, as a member of the committees responsible for drafting and reviewing the Act of Administrative Procedure, the Act of Labor Procedure, the General Act on Cassation and the Code of Civil Procedure.

Has been a speaker at various national and international conferences on procedural law and arbitration and has authored several articles published in specialized journals and five books on procedural law.
