Germán, partner at Gómez Pinzón Abogados, has more than 35 years of professional experience, he leads the areas of foreign exchange law and international investments of the Corporate Practice Group

In the Energy & Natural Resources practice, he provides advise to exploration and production companies, oil field service companies, pipeline transporters and trading companies. German has actively participated in mergers & acquisitions and financing transactions of companies in this industry.

In addition, he has provided advise to upstream companies in the execution of E&P Contracts, Association Contracts, JOA’s, Farm Out’s, among others. He also has broad experience in downstream matters regarding the structuring and negotiation of Offtake Agreements, Take or Pay and Take and Pay Contracts, among others.
In foreign exchange law and international investments, he advises companies from different industry sectors, on issues related to regulatory foreign exchange matters, structuring of international investments, indebtedness in foreign currency and counsel and representation in administrative exchange procedures.
